Integrating Health Equity Content Into Health Professions Education

Health equity is a common theme discussed in health professions schools, yet many educators are wary of addressing it. Avoidance content education leads to student frustration and missed opportunities educate the next generation care professionals about sensitive important issues. Moreover, this gap students' knowledge can negatively influence patients perpetuate disparities.
